One way of fostering smallholder farmers’ agricultural productivity is through encouraging agricultural technology adoptions. However, agricultural technology adoption remains very low in Ethiopia and very little is known about the common factors affecting this.
This paper shows the findings from a meta-analysis of the literature on this topic. It highlights the key factors affecting the adoption of these technologies in Ethiopia, such as the age of the household head, education level, farm size and distance from the market.
